[PHOENIX, AZ, January 21, 2019–] We are proud to announce that The Cannabis Cactus Magazine has partnered with Elite Tour Golf to bring a professional golf tour to the Arizona valley in an inclusive and constructive way. Elite Tour Golf tournaments focus on the professional players by allowing them to cultivate their careers locally, rather than living life on the road. Spectators and sponsors will have the chance to enjoy the festivities of local televised golf tournaments like never before. Elite Tour Golf is the first professional sports league to welcome cannabis sponsorship and we look forward to bringing our cannabis community into the mainstream through this partnership.
To celebrate the upcoming 2019 season of Elite Tour Golf, we are hosting The 2019 Cannabis Cactus Open Charity Golf Tournament. We are accepting 32 teams to play in this scramble tournament on March 9th at the Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix. The price for tournament entry is $1,000 per team, which will include all course fees and catered lunch after the match. Each team will include three golfers from your business together with one assigned pro from the Elite Tour. Everyone will be playing for charity, with wonderful prizes for the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams. The event will be live streamed on several media outlets. Our friend Ray Adams from Fox Sports and 1060 AM will be providing live streamed commentary on the feature holes and each registered team will receive a mention on Ray’s show prior to the tournament. A portion of the tournament will also be filmed by the Fox Sports crew. Each team will also enjoy a gift for participation and a catered lunch following the tournament.
Our local charity for the March 9th tournament will be Apache Junction High School and the funds raised will help the track team by providing coaches, equipment and new uniforms for the upcoming season. This will be an amazing community event for everyone involved and we are proud to bring the cannabis and golf communities together to do great things. We look forward to seeing you there!
