THC-Infused Coffee Cooler

This cocktail recipe incorporates cardamom, coffee, orange juice, and a touch of cannabis-infused sweetness - a unique and intriguing combination. 


Cardamom adds a warm, slightly spicy note to the coffee's natural bitterness. The addition of orange juice introduces a bright and citrusy element to the mix, bringing a refreshing quality, complementing the depth of coffee and the warmth of cardamom. The touch of sweetness from the cannabis-infused simple syrup rounds out the flavors. It's important not to overdo it though, let the natural sweetness of the orange juice play its role. The club soda gives the cocktail a fizzy and effervescent quality, making it a more refreshing and uplifting beverage.

Ingredients

  • 5 cardamom pods

  • 3 ounces brewed coffee, chilled is best

  • 1 ounce orange juice

  • 1/2 ounce cannabis-infused simple syrup

  • 1 ounce club soda

  • 1 orange slice (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Using a mortar & pestle, gently crush the cardamom pods to open the pod, but not enough to release the insides.

  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. 

  3. Add cardamom, brewed coffee, orange juice and cannabis-infused simple syrup and shake for 15-20 seconds until combined and frothy.

  4. Double strain into an ice filled highball and stir in the club soda. Garnish with a slice of orange or a simple orange twist.
