According to a statement from the Fairfield Police Department, police have seized 216 marijuana plants and more than 250 pounds of processed marijuana from an unlawful grow location at a property.
A probable illegal marijuana grow at a residence on the 1600 block of Kentucky Street, less than half a mile west of Fairfield Elementary School, is reportedly the subject of anonymous tips from local neighbors, according to FPD. The police launched an inquiry and obtained a search warrant for the building and house.
