Oni Seed Co. | Black Garlic Ice Water Hash

Black Garlic is an indica dominant cross between GMO x Sour Dubb by Oni Seed Co. It’s known for its high resin and citrus terpenes - making it a perfect option for producing high quality ice water hash. Ice water hash mixes buds with ice water and filters the mixture through increasingly finer mesh bags to slowly filter the trichomes from the buds. Many producers I've seen in Spain will also mix some fresh trim from the plant to increase the terpene yield in the finished hash. Because water is used, ice water hash requires a longer cure time for ideal smoking. The initial texture is resinous and almost impossible to work with. Smoked at this point, the hash will be hard to burn and will be lacking in flavor and effects. This is rolled into a temple ball or pressed into a brick to cure for anywhere from a week to a month or even longer in some cases. The resulting texture is glorious, with a crystallized and creamy feel - incredibly easy to manipulate with fully unleashed flavors. The hash I bought is unfortunately undercured and incredibly resinous, so I will leave it for a week or so before consuming.
