Jim Belushi opens marijuana dispensary on Upstate New York Indian nation

The most recent permit to run a marijuana dispensary on the Saint Regis (Akwesasne) Mohawk Tribe territory in northern New York has been given to a business owned by actor and comedian Jim Belushi.

According to a press statement from the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council, Belushi, a television and film star who is also the younger brother of the late actor John Belushi, was present last week for the ribbon-cutting of the store on State Route 37 close to the Canadian border in Franklin County.
