Infused Berry Creamy Push Pops | Cannabis Recipe
It’s August, it’s sweaty and it’s hot! Treat yourself to a Berry Creamy Push Pop! The variety of fruit and addition of yogurt makes these healthy, creamy, and slightly tart. I used Green Halo Infusion’s THC tincture, whose infusion is naturally sweet and perfectly balanced. Plus the push pop container is so retro! You can find these at my favorite baking supply store, ABC Cake Decorating, they’ll have these and all the tools you’ll ever need. While you’re there, pick up a foam cake round to fill your pops upright. You can easily make these in the morning and they’ll be ready for evening shenanigans. Ready? Let’s do it!
Recipe: Berry Creamy Push Pops
Yield: 8 25mg push pops Time: 30 minutes
Tools Needed: Blender, Measuring Cups/Bowls, Spatula, Push Pop Containers
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh strawberries, cored and washed
6 oz container raspberries, washed
1 ripe banana
5 oz strawberry yogurt
½ cup orange juice, squeeze 1 medium fruit
¼ cup grapefruit juice, squeeze ¼ fruit
1 oz cannabis tincture, Green Halo THC Tincture, 200mg
2.5 oz Sugar (for simple syrup)
2.5 oz Water (for simple syrup)
Directions:
This recipe makes 8 push pops. So a 200mg bottle of tincture makes it 25mg per push pop. You can always use more or less depending on your tolerance. Prepare your foam cake round with holes for the push pop sticks and pull out the blender. Prep all your ingredients.
First, make your simple syrup: Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan, simmer til the sugar has dissolved and your solution is clear. Remove from heat.
Layer all your fruit, yogurt in the blender then pour in simple syrup and juice. Blend until smooth. I’d recommend straining the seeds out of the mixture for a smoother push pop and softer mouth feel!
Pour the mixture back in the blender and add your dose of Green Halo tincture. Keep this blending for at least 1-2 minutes, scraping the sides half way for even distribution of the medication. Next pour this mixture evenly into your 8 push pop molds. Freeze for at least 4 hours.
Pop them out of the freezer and enjoy your success!
Notes: Dairy- Free: Substitute Dairy Free Strawberry Yogurt Low-Sugar: Omit simple syrup for taste or dietary restrictions.
