I have many different grinders at home, and all seem to do the job well enough by grinding buds into a fine powder or a paste. This isn’t always a good idea. Pulverizing cannabis into a sticky paste does not make for a good smoke. The Flower Mill does not chop the fragile flowers into tiny pieces, instead it gently plumps up the flower into a form that is easy to maneuver and roll into a joint or stuff into your bong. The Flower Mill does not have sharp blades chopping the flowers, nor does it turn the stems (bitter and acerbic) into a hacked mass that clogs your pipe or bong. If your usual grinder is made of cheap plastic, you may be smoking some of that material if it should break off… and that’s not good! The Flower Mill is ingenious. Your precious flower is not annihilated, it’s fluffy! They’re not inexpensive, starting at sixty or so dollars and moving up from there, but they’re made really well, so it’s money saved from replacing grinders every year or so! I love mine and I bought it with my own money!
