Firefighters World Challenge
The Firefighters World Challenge recently took place at the speedway race track in Nashville, Tennessee, where over 45 countries gathered to compete, break records, and push limits. This year, competitors from countries including Ukraine, Lithuania, and Germany, along with Canadian provinces, showcased incredible athleticism. Jackie even shattered her own world record in the process.
Firefighters from various age groups competed head-to-head, with the under-40 category being especially fierce. Men and women in full gear—including oxygen tanks and respirators—climbed stairs, hauled heavy hoses, and carried a life-sized dummy under the intense 90-degree October heat and humidity. The physical demands were extreme, but the camaraderie and sportsmanship were equally impressive.
We were proud to be part of this event, representing wellness through cannabis therapy and hydration. Our team handed out alkaline water and CBD packets to support firefighters, mindful of varying regulations. While some jurisdictions allow firefighters to use CBD, others depend on the local legality, so we offered our support to those permitted to partake.
This event was an incredible experience, and we’re grateful to Three & Serve Hospitality for making it possible. With competition of this caliber, it deserves to be televised—ESPN, take note! This is Michael Cassini, reporting from the Firefighters World Challenge.
Thank you to Edge hydration and my partners Angel Fernandez , Izzy rosales, Jacques Pryor and Gloria Govan.
