Chamomile Turmeric Infusion

Infusions made with chamomile flowers have been used for centuries as a relaxant, and when combined with warm milk, turmeric and a cannabis infused syrup, this infusion is an excellent way to fall into slumber. We use Baked Bros Sleepy Syrup for this with 10mg THC & 5mg CBD per serving, along with several terpenes known for their sedative properties - Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Linalool and Limonene. Baked Bros intentionally left out other cannabinoids such as CBN, affirming that their sleep formula is more effective as a result. Try it out and compare with other formulas on the market that include CBN or CBG and see how you feel. This syrup is unflavored as well, which means you can take it straight from a spoon or mix into any type of drink, no matter the flavor profile.


MILK This recipe includes milk. The protein and fat in the milk can give the sensation of fullness that usually helps us feel tired. It can also easily be made with any non-dairy milk or with 100% water if desired. If substituting out the milk, we recommend using coconut milk to mimic the richness.


DOSING Each serving of Baked Bros Sleepy Syrup contains 10mg of THC. This is a good starting point if you never tried this syrup. Remember, the goal of this infusion is not to see how high you can get, but rather to ease into a relaxing evening. If you use a larger dose of Sleepy Syrup, you may not want to add any additional honey. Some non-dairy milks may also have a sweeter flavor and may not require additional honey. Use your judgment and add honey as necessary to reach the desired sweetness for you.


Ingredients

  • 1 sachet chamomile tea

  • 6 oz Milk (if dairy free, substitute oat, nut, or coconut milk)

  • 6 oz Water

  • Baked Bros Sleepy Syrup - Unflavored

  • ½ tsp. Turmeric powder

  • Honey to taste, if necessary

Instructions

  1. Combine water and milk and bring to a boil.

  2. While waiting for the boil, combine the desired dose of Baked Bros syrup with the turmeric into a paste, this will help the turmeric to blend smoothly into the infusion.

  3. Pour boiling water/milk over the tea bag in your favorite mug.

  4. Steep for 3-5 minutes to infuse the water/milk.

  5. Add in the Syrup & Turmeric paste and mix well.

  6. Taste and adjust sweetness with honey as necessary.

  7. Enjoy in a relaxed environment.
