Cannabis Holiday Gift Ideas

No Matter what your background is, chances are you’re giving some kind of gift this holiday season. Perhaps you even have a special someone in your world who has made cannabis a part of their lifestyle. This year, you want to give them a gift that compliments what they love but is not so obvious. Below are the top 10 gifts that have potential to fly under the radar for most but will be sure to put a big smile on the face of your weed loving friends and family.

Doormats

A simple internet search for cannabis door mats will leave you with thousands of options. Most include loud designs with weed leafs and obvious references. If you want to be discreet there are other options. Try searching for a floor mat from your favorite cannabis dispensary or rolling paper brand. These are funny ways to send “if you know, you know” signals to anyone entering your home but not be so in your face when opened up around the holiday table. Also, keep your eye out for doormats made from hemp for that special touch.

ISO 90% + Epsom Salt

Do you have a friend who only smokes out of a bong or glass? Trust me on this gift idea. Go to your local pharmacy and pick up a cute basket and fill it up with a bag of plain epsom salt and a few bottles of 90% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol. Most people who smoke cannabis out of glass will use ISO 90% and some epsom salt, shake it around and watch as their glass turns clean as new. I know it sounds like a weird gift but trust me, they will be super excited to receive this type of gift especially if packaged in a fancy or funny way.

Artistic Rolling Trays

There are some really cool limited edition trays out there that companies offer as collectables. These trays are great for different uses around the house. As a stoner myself, I especially like having a few trays around to make sure all weed things aggregate onto the tray. When it comes time to clean up, I can lift the whole tray and move it out of the way. My favorite size is the big tray around 16 x 11 inches but you can find awesome trays in any size.

Potted Plant

Plants and nature seem to resonate with most cannabis lovers. There are some cool plants that don’t require much maintenance for your people who may forget to water them. You can also find a funky pot for the plant to go inside to complete the whole package. You can even consider writing on the bottom “a little pot for you” as a joke.

Basket of Favorite snacks

A basket of munchies is great for any of your friends or family regardless of their cannabis status. However if you have a friend who loves weed, chances are a thought out basket of their all time favorite candies and snacks will be a gift that keeps on giving for at least a couple of hours.

CBD Massage

No matter what state you’re in these days you may be able to find a place offering CBD massages. Access to CBD has grown tremendously the past few years. This could be a good middle ground gift for someone who loves the idea of cannabis but is waiting for the right setting to familiarize themselves with it.

Infused Bath Bombs

Some States with Adult use and Medical Cannabis dispensaries offer THC infused bath bombs. These are discrete in their packaging and can be given as a gift without it being super obvious to everyone around what exactly is inside. If you feel like leaving out the THC, there are several CBD-only bombs available. To mix it up you can search for a good 1:1 CBD to THC ratio bomb to try a nice mix of both in one.

Infused Skin Care & Lotions

Similar to bath bombs, there are several skin care and lotion products available with THC or CBD infusions. Some of the most popular include salves and lip balms. If you’re in a state that doesn’t have dispensaries available yet, don’t worry, there are several CBD skin care lines available online. Don’t be afraid to get creative with new products.

Card with IOU inside w/ winky face so you know what’s coming next

This is my personal favorite gift to give my friends and family who are lovers of our sweet Mary Jane. I like to pick out the coolest card I can find and write a heartfelt note inside. On the one side I usually draw an IOU or write out the amount I have for them at my house. They are always super happy to know a gift is coming their way.

Functional hand blown glass art

Head shops and glass shops most often have other art pieces besides smokables. I like to look for ashtrays or cool marbles or drinking glasses to potentially purchase. These are usually one of a kind and super unique. You can search for local artists or hit up the internet for a variety of options far and wide.

Personally, I am going to be searching for some cool functional hand blown glass art this season. I plan on adding a flare to the homes of more than just my weed lovers this year. After the wedding I had in October it’s going to be hard to fly under the radar personally.
