Adaptogenic Superfood Smoothie

I’ve been experimenting with different smoothie recipes for the past year, and one thing every smoothie lover does is start adding more ingredients while learning how supplements affect the body. This journey has changed my life by eliminating fatigue, brain fog, and other energy issues we face daily. Here’s my streamlined smoothie recipe, designed to balance powerful ingredients for optimal absorption, energy, and overall wellness.

Start with as few ingredients as you can access, then gradually build up to a potent blend with as many as you can handle. Oftentimes, cannabis consumers suffer from other energy-draining conditions, and a daily smoothie like this can keep even the most medicated among us energized and focused.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup liquid base (water, coconut water, or unsweetened almond milk)

  • 1 scoop Amazing Grass Green Superfood (or equivalent greens powder)

  • 950 mg mushroom blend (Quadriceps Rishi mycelia)

  • 50 mg CoQ10 (optional: add a small amount of coconut oil for better absorption)

  • ¼ tsp MSM crystals (approx. 1 g)

  • ¼ tsp silica supplement

  • 200-300 mg magnesium complex

  • ¼ tsp each of the following adaptogens:

    • Rhodiola root

    • Maca root

    • Ashwagandha root

    • Chinese ginseng

    • Lao root

  • 1 tsp ginkgo leaf powder

  • 1 tbsp honey (optional for sweetness and energy)

  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt (for probiotics and creaminess)

  • 1 small banana (or ½ cup mixed berries or 1 peeled tangerine)

  • 1 tsp chia seeds or flaxseed (for fiber and omega-3s)

  • Optional boost: ½ tsp ginger for digestion support


Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.

  2. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth and creamy.

  3. Enjoy immediately for the best nutrient retention.
